UV varnish problems to be solved

UV varnish problems to be solved

  (1) Odor. Although UV light oil is gradually developing in the direction of low odor, but the odor problem still exists. In the future, we need to improve the molecular weight and reactivity of prepolymer and monomer, and develop odorless raw materials including photoinitiators.
  (2) Safety. UV varnish is worse than water-based varnish in terms of odor and food hygiene safety, and UV coating is not approved by FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and cannot come into direct contact with food.
  (3) Cost reduction. In recent years, although the cost of UV varnish has fallen a lot, but compared with the general ink, or too high, still need to further reduce, mainly UV varnish and UV curing device and other equipment operating costs.
