The process of manufacturing cartons is as follows.
1、Determine the scale of the product to be packaged
　　The scale of the product directly determines the size of the outer packaging box, its accuracy is very important. Use a tape measure to accurately measure out the length, width and height of the product and record it on paper, on the shape of irregular items, be sure to select the largest point for measurement. On fragile, easily deformed products, if the need to use auxiliary packaging materials (such as foam, pearl cotton, bubble bags, etc.) to strengthen the packaging, the scale of auxiliary packaging materials should also be calculated into the scale of the product.
2、Determine the scale of the cardboard
　　After acknowledging the scale of the product, the next important step is to acknowledge the size of the cardboard used to make the carton based on the scale of the product. We know that a rectangular or square carton, its flat open is a rectangular cardboard, the length of the rectangular cardboard is the carton (length + width) x 2, the width of the cardboard is the width of the carton + height. Here I will package a scale is 29cml * 19cmw * 29cmh products as an example to clarify how to determine the size of the cardboard. The scale of the product is 29 * 19 * 29cm, if the carton is completely in accordance with the scale of the product to determine the length, width and height, in the cardboard folded into the carton, the cardboard inward, will take up some of the available space in the carton, will lead to tight packaging or can not be wrapped under the product. Therefore, we need to properly enlarge the length, width and height of the product to ensure that the internal space of the carton meets the product under the package. If the use of 5mm thick cardboard, we generally need to increase the length, width and height of 1cm, then we need the scale becomes 30 * 20 * 30cm, which is the so-called pressure line scale (note that this is not the final outer packaging scale). 3、Cutting cardboard
　　Will be ready to lay the cardboard flat on the floor, using a tape measure to measure out the length of the demand, and mark with a pen, pay attention to the two points must be selected, because the two points into a straight line. Mark two points, remove the tape measure, with a ruler or other straight things along the direction of the two points pressed cardboard, utility knife along the ruler down to cut the cardboard, pay attention to the body of the knife do not extend too much, the angle between the blade and the cardboard is not too large, with the blade smoothly along the ruler a row in the end, the force is slightly larger, it is best to cut the cardboard at once. The same method to select a good width, with a hobby knife to cut out the required scale of cardboard.
4, manufacturing carton press line
　　After the cardboard is cut, what we have to do now is to mark the scale we recorded on the paper to the cardboard. According to our recorded scale, use a tape measure on the cardboard to measure out the corresponding scale, and mark out with a pen, the effect is as follows (black dots are marked scale mark): mark the mark, the next to draw the pressure line. 5、Carton forming
　　The cardboard will be folded along the long side according to the line of pressure, forming a rectangular body, the joint part in the carton, if there is white glue, you can apply some white glue in the joint part, or perhaps use strong double-sided tape is okay, the joint part will be taped up, and then sealed on the outside with a transparent tape. Will be arbitrary end of the opening part of the folded up, the same with a transparent tape seal. So far, the general box manufacturing is basically completed.
