What are the common hot stamping techniques used in label printing
Enterprises are now aware of the packaging to improve the cost-effectiveness of the product, increase the added value of the product and anti-counterfeiting, so more and more companies are using the printing and stamping process on the packaging of their carton products, which in turn gives the product a certain advantage in the market competition. Printing process mainly has ordinary stamping, cold stamping, embossing stamping and holographic stamping and other ways. Ordinary printing and stamping process is divided into two kinds of flat stamping and circular pressure flat stamping, circular pressure flat stamping for line contact, stamping substrate wide, suitable for large area stamping, stamping accuracy and other characteristics, widely used. The use of flat stamping is relatively less.
Cold foil stamping is a new process, refers to the transfer of metal foil without the use of heated metal printing plate, but the use of printing adhesive method. The cold foil stamping process is promising because of its low cost, energy saving and high productivity.
Convex stamping uses modern engraving technology to produce upper and lower matching negative and positive moulds, stamping and embossing process is completed at one time, with high working efficiency. The stamping and embossing process can be completed simultaneously, which reduces the number of processes and the waste produced due to inaccurate overprinting.
Holographic marking is mainly anti-counterfeiting, using computer technology to change the amplitude and frequency of the grating, so that the effect is more vivid and clearer than the colours of the calculated pattern. If this holographic logo is copied as the original, the result will be a large number of holographic loss, thus achieving the purpose of anti-counterfeiting.
